Keyline has integrated Emdoor Info’s rugged tablet EM-I87J into its Automotive Programming Kit as a core on-site terminal for running its key programming and cloning software. Featuring robust computing capabilities, versatile I/O connectivity, and outstanding environmental resilience, the EM-I87J delivers smooth and reliable performance across various vehicle models.
First, the operator utilizes the 884 MINI DECRYPTOR to read the original key and retrieve encrypted data from the chip, which is then rapidly transmitted to the EM-I87J via Bluetooth or USB. The Keyline software immediately processes, analyzes, and dispatches instructions based on the data. Then, the operator selects the vehicle model on the tablet and connects it with the vehicle’s OBD port via the STACK module and programming cable, ensuring stable and secure data transmission.
During diagnostics, the Keyline software extracts security data from the vehicle’s ECU. After that, the operator can clone the key or program a new one. The EM-I87J then writes the corresponding data to the target remote control or mechanical key. Thanks to its high-brightness display and strong anti-interference performance, operators can work efficiently in outdoor sunlight or workshop environments with high electromagnetic interference.
Finally, the operator can verify the programming result on-site by testing the new key’s remote control and ignition functions. All data generated throughout the process is stored within the Keyline software, enabling future technical traceability and remote analysis.
